hey guys how are you. well, i have lots of food and toys that me and my boy friend have bought and we’ve been trying to donate them but apparently everyone is only taking money. if you guys know anyone who is taking food donations, please let me know. thank you so much. hope to hear from you guys soon.
Thanks for wanting to help Melanie. The problem with food and other supplies is that they are not really what is needed the most. Relief organizations in Haiti already have lots of emergency supplies but what they really need is money to rebuild and to pay for what it costs to actually get trucks and workers into the areas that need help.
If you have food or clothes it might be better to find a local organization that can make use of that, maybe for the homeless. Try Miami Rescue Mission or Salvation Army.
