Calvary Chapel Miami Beach is a non-denominational fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are an independent church, but have chosen to associate with Calvary Chapel Outreach Fellowships in the USA and worldwide.
Calvary Chapel Miami Beach exists to worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Bible and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Distinctives at Calvary Chapel
God
We believe in one God eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: We believe this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all. He alone is to be worshiped, served and obeyed.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule for faith and practice.
Jesus Christ
We Believe Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for his people, and His personal, visible return to earth.
Man
We believe man is a sinner by nature and choice and, therefore, under condemnation, deserving God’s eternal judgment.
Salvation
We believe deliverance from the penalty and power of sin is the gift of God, which He gives to anyone who repents of his sins and puts his trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord. Faith in Jesus Christ results in the forgiveness by God for all sins, acceptance by God unto His family as one of His children, a new life of love for God and obedience to Him, and a new relationship with other believers as brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Baptism with the Holy Spirit by Jesus Christ
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available immediately after salvation to empower the believer for living and service. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Bible are available to believers today.
