Be a part of this historic building project! Read our story below and consider a financial investment in the ministry expansion of Calvary Chapel Miami Beach.
We are asking for financial support to complete the necessary renovations to occupy this great building. To date our Calvary Chapel family and supporters have given in excess of $130,000 over our operating budget by generous giving and commitment to making a permanent presence of the Gospel and teaching of God’s word.
Project of the Month
December 2011: Upgrades and repairs are much needed for these crucial areas:
Wheelchair/Handicap/Stroller Ramp – estimated cost $5-6,000
Handrail Repairs to city code – estimated cost $5,000
Audio/Visual, Lighting, and Sound System upgrades – estimated costs $12,000
September 2011: Update: Woohoo! Fully paid and fulfilled! A promissory note to Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale remains for $25,000. (At this posting $16,00 has come in!)It is our prayer to be able to repay this as soon as possible. CCFtL was instrumental in allowing CCMB to confidently purchase and begin the process of engineering plans, permits, and renovation in June 2010. The New Testament exhorts us to let no debt remain outstanding except the debt to love one another and that debt we should pay constantly. We are asking for financial assistance in paying for this cost above and beyond our budgeted items for the month of September.
August 2011: Update: Woohoo! Once again a faithful family member has given generously to get this project done! This month we need to encage our air conditioning compressors as recent trends in illegal metals have escalated the stealing and vandalism of copper elements in homes and businesses. Estimated cost of installation $3,500
July 2011: Woohoo! Calvary Chapel finally got A1A Signs of Miami take over, permit, and install our dove and lettering to give us an exterior sign. We think it is looking beautiful. Thanks to a generous gift from the Chan family whose legacy extends back to First Presbyterian Church of Miami Beach. Next the area will be wired for exterior lighting. This will be a huge plus to bringing light to a dark corner and life to the North Beach area.

… Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. John 21: 4 – 6
Calvary Chapel Miami Beach Celebrated 17 Years of the Word of God in Miami Beach and Grand Opening Services November 7th, 2010! Now the continuing work and growth are being supplied by the generous hand of our mighty God.
See below how you can be a part of this great work of the Spirit… God details his plan to show without a doubt that he wanted Calvary Chapel Miami Beach to have an historic building to reclaim and inherit. Now the people of CCMB respond overwhelmingly by giving and supporting the purchase of a building. This is an unprecedented occasion in the city of Miami Beach. Last year CCMB co-labored to present Cross the Bridge, the first evangelistic event of it’s kind in South Beach at the Fillmore/Jackie Gleason Theater. Three nights of top Christian contemporary bands performing and the Good News of Jesus preached, while many souls made decisions for Christ.
Now the Lord strategically opens a door to reclaim a church that had closed its doors, and revitalize a vision begun 70 years ago. Daniel Iverson pastored the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church of Miami Beach and built this church designed by notable architect firm Russell Pancoast. Since the mid 1960′s the building and Christian community had been in decline, but now the Spirit says, “Maranatha!” and it is done!
Much loving renovation needs to be added, but the original edifice is actually still intact and once again the Lord provides miraculously for His people. Sanctuary, Balcony, Fellowship Hall, Children’s & Youth rooms, Offices, and more. This facility sits in a strategic location and will be the new home of Calvary Chapel Miami Beach only 10 minutes from South Beach, Miami’s Upper East Side, Miami Shores, Bal Harbor, and 20 minutes from Coral Gables, Brickell, & Sunny Isles. Senior Pastor Robert Fountain recalls a distinct urging from the Lord several years ago during a time of personal Bible Study and reflection: “Cast the net on the other side of the boat!”
This word from the Spirit of God has been repeated and confirmed and the implications of it are now manifested in the new direction that the Lord is leading: North Beach, a neighborhood in need of revitalization. Families, youth, and children are all potential focus and missions fields in this strategic area.
Pray and give so that this work of the Spirit of God can continue. At this time capital and fixed assets are needed to overhaul and prepare the building for use. A partial list is recorded here for your prayerful consideration.

Our God is a mighty God says Psalm 77:
Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary; Who is so great a God as our God? You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples. You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph.
Today we praise the Lord and King of the whole earth, because there is nothing that He cannot accomplish through His wisdom and power! And now we petition our humble king for all the providence and favor that He is willing to bestow upon a people submitted to His will. We look forward with anticipation to see His mighty hand move many obstacles and transform this building and the lives of people who for years will enter its doors.
