As we look back over a decade and a half of the faithful fruit of God’s promises in Jesus Christ through the work of His Holy Spirit, we are in awe of our Father, Savior, Comforter, and Guide. So many lives have been impacted and changed, repaired, renewed, or redirected that we can confidently say it has been a unique work of God. Our city has changed drastically since then and so has His church. What an opportunity to thank and praise the Lord for all that He has done! We invite you to celebrate God’s faithfulness with us. Dear Pastor,

Two years ago I was a 17 year old agnostic eating a burger at the McDonald’s down the road from your church. When I exited the McDonald’s with two of my friends we were engaged by a young couple of evangelists who were passing out Randy Alcorn tracts. The evangelists witnessed to both of my friends and I didn’t say a thing but I was intrigued by what they were saying. Before they left they asked if they could pray with us, and my friends said no, but in my heart there wasn’t anything I wanted to do more. That was the first seed of the gospel that was planted in my soul. 3 months later I accepted Christ, and more than two years later I am a youth group intern for Christ Fellowship West Kendall, and a seminary student with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. But I just wanted to share with you the role that you’re church played in God saving me from myself, and thank you.
